It involves sitting on the floor with legs spread wide, then bending forward and placing the torso flat on the floor – pubic bone/abdomen/ribs/chest/arms, in that order – via flexion at the hip, not of the spine. An essential component of the pancake is anterior pelvic tilt. Отодвинь, мешающие предметы (подушечку, кота, оператора😅) в сторону, чтобы не задеть их длинными ногами. ⠀ 2. Встань в позу. Нене, обидки не строить. Как на видео. Сделай хороший шаг вперёд, стопы в одном направлении. Наклонись. Выпрями спину. Животом нависни над бедром. ⠀ 3. Сделай перекат с ноги на ногу. КОЛЕНИ! ВТЯНИ. ⠀ 4. Руками придержи пол. Хотя нет, пусть он тебе послужит хорошей опорой. Стой на прямой ноге (колено выпрями!) А дальше мах. Начни с 8-10 повторов. Не забудь поменять ногу. 5. Примостись к стене и тянись тазом к ней. Натяжение будет в опорной ноге 👌И это...колено втяни😜 ⠀ P.S.: Секрет длинных ног в коленях и натянутых носочках 😏

Do you stretch on the regular, and why not? 😁 - It is soo important to stretch your muscles PROPERLY. Quick tips: - 1. We are talking STATIC stretching today (stretch the muscle and hold). Another approach is DYNAMIC stretching - lengthening your muscles through dynamic movement (more on it in one of the next posts) - 2. STATIC stretching is done either after your training, or on its own. DON'T do static stretching before your workout. You do DYNAMIC stretching before training. - 3. Always warm up before you stretch. Muscles can increase their functional range of motion by 30% when warm. And they are more likely to get injured when not. - 4. You can stretch to the point of slight discomfort, but never to the point of pain. Why? Because if you stretch so much that it hurts, your muscles will contract & decrease their range of motion to prevent potential tears & injury (your body is smart). - 5. Never hold the stretch for longer than 90sec. Ideally you would hold the first stretch for about 30 sec (like a "warm up" to loosen up the muscle) - release - and then go back into a deeper stretch for 60 seconds. (we're talking general population, if you are a contortionist/gymnast it's a different story) - Benefits of stretching & more info on dynamic stretching coming up!
